My experience with the cycle tracker breathe ilo
Since last year there is a novelty on the market for cycle tracking. Namely, the breathe ilo breath analyser. Yes, exactly, you can determine your fertile days through your breath. This was also new to me, but it is actually scientifically proven. This is exactly why I would like to tell you about my experience with the breathe ilo cycle tracker today.
The Usage of breathe ilo
I have been using breathe ilo for a few months now, ever since it came on the market. It is very easy to use and has significant advantages compared to other cycle trackers. Yes, I have tried a lot in this area. For one thing, it’s easy to take 1 minute for a simple daily measurement. Furthermore, I find it extremely hygienic that I don’t have to pee on sticks, but can simply breathe into a device. Normally I use breathe ilo in the morning, before brushing my teeth. Because here I take a minute, relax a bit and actually really enjoy the measurement. I take this minute a day for myself, my body, my mood and to get a kick-start into the day. The focused breathing helps me get off to an incredibly good start to the day. Admittedly, if you are already woken up by small children in the morning, you might find it harder. Nevertheless, I believe that it is a significant advantage to reflect briefly in the morning. Others would meditate here. For me, measuring with the breathe ilo cycle tracker is enough.
The advantages of the cycle tracker app
After this relaxing minute of breathing through the cycle tracker, you immediately receive your result in the corresponding breathe ilo app. It can be connected to the device conveniently via bluetooth and only needs a few seconds for installation. Afterwards, the connection always worked quickly and flawlessly for me. If you have already registered when using the device for the first time, you really only need 1 minute per day for cycle tracking. The cycle tracker app voluntarily offers a few more features to help you monitor your cycle better. For example, there is a cycle diary where you can enter your symptoms. I would particularly like to highlight the function that you not only have predefined symptoms to choose from, but can also make your own notes. This was very helpful for me, for example, when I discussed details about my cycle with my gynaecologist at my six-monthly routine check-up. He asked me questions about my cycle and I was able to answer them immediately thanks to the breathe ilo cycle tracker app. You can also see comparisons of the different cycles in the app. So you can see exactly how long which cycle was and how it is compared to the other. I find that really exciting because I know exactly how long each cycle was and how long my periods or fertile days were. This helps me a lot to adjust to the cycle phases and to give myself time off when I need to, for example. It also shows me why I sometimes feel incredibly fit and agile and in other phases completely flabby and unattractive. Because that’s exactly what the cycle tracker app shows me.
How accurate is breathe ilo?
But how exactly does the measurement with breathe ilo work? I also asked myself this question before buying breathe ilo. It’s not easy to keep track of all the different cycle trackers on the market, so I did some in-depth research. As early as the 1950s, research was done and published on the connection between a woman’s cycle and the fluctuations in her breathing. In 2003 there was even a large-scale study confirming that the woman has a kind of hyperventilation already 5-6 days before ovulation. This changes the CO2 content. It drops and that is exactly what can be measured now. So it took longer until the technology was ready and the device came on the market. This is exactly why this kind of cycle tracking is not yet as popular as other methods. But now it’s here and for someone like me it’s a great way to track the cycle.
Using breathe ilo for contraception
Many people who have read this post will think that I use breathe ilo for contraception and not for having children. But that is only partly true. The manufacturer explicitly points out that breathe ilo is not approved for contraception and I don’t want to contradict this. I still use breathe ilo for cycle monitoring. However, I only recommend it to women who are familiar with the subject. In my case, it is years of research and information with myself and my body that actually let me resort to natural methods of contraception. Theoretically, the parameter CO2 would also be suitable for this as a single parameter. However, I don’t want to leave my contraception to technology alone and I also listen strongly to my body and my knowledge of the symptothermal method. So I include breathe ilo as an additional cycle tool and parameter. I try to combine everything to be on the safe side here without hormones. This out of my personal conviction.
I hope my post helps many women make their decision about breathe ilo fertility tracker and can only reiterate in general how important it is to use a cycle tracker to know more about your own body.
